The service
This website provides a free tool for adding a visual signature to a PDF. It's provided “as is,” without any warranty of any kind, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the tool will be available at all times, free of errors, or suitable for every use case.
This is not a certificate-based digital signature
The signatures created by this tool are visual signatures — an image of a signature placed on a PDF page. They are not certificate-based cryptographic digital signatures tied to a verified identity. You are responsible for determining whether a visual signature is appropriate and sufficient for your particular document and jurisdiction. See our signing guide for more on the difference.
Acceptable use
You agree to use this tool only for lawful purposes. In particular, you won't use it to forge a signature on a document you aren't authorized to sign, to impersonate another person, or to create a signature intended to deceive or defraud anyone. You're responsible for how you use the documents you create with this tool.
Changes to the service
We may change, update, or discontinue this service, or any part of it, at any time. We'll aim to keep the core signing tool free and available, but we can't make that an absolute guarantee.
